There has been much speculation in the media and other sources with regard to the club's placement within the National League System for next season. To clarify the club's position, we would like to make supporters aware of the following; To date, the club has not received anything in writing from the FA, or the Southern League with regard to any proposed changes in our placement within the System for the 2010-11 season. As a club, we have been planning for a campaign in the Central Division of the Southern League and that is where we expect to play next season. If we were invited to play at Premier Division level next season, the committee would have to examine which of the Step 3 Divisions we would be likely to be placed in and the implications of remaining at that level for everyone at the club. While we will, of course, comply with the decisions made by the League Systems Committee with regard to any vacancy that may arise at Step 3, we were quite happy with the composition of the division in which we were originally placed. It is for this division we have been planning and in which we currently expect to play.
