Ashford Town’s Under 15s side were unstoppable on Saturday afternoon as they completed victory in the Staines Town 5-a-side tournament without conceding a goal in the whole competition and scoring over 25 goals in the seven games played. The 15s, who finished second in the Premier Elite division this season, outplayed their opponents in their group matches beating Staines Town A & B and Staines Albion A & B. They then went on to beat another Staines Town team in the quarter finals, before beating Elm Grove in the semi-finals. The final was against a spirited Bedfont team, who had put together some great performances to get to this stage, but Ashford were in a ruthless mood and defeated them 5-0 in the final. Manager Kelvin Poulter and Ben Murray were delighted with the performance of the seven man squad, who kept their discipline and style throughout the tournament and with the added accolade of keeping a clean sheet throughout the tournament to be proud of. Squad – Tyler Tobin, James McKenna, Elijah Bristol, Ryan Kirkland, Sean Wade, Kyle Dyett and Ryan Marklew.
