We have this morning received our fixture list for the forthcoming season from the Southern League.  Clearly the fixtures have been compiled so as to prevent unnecessary midweek travel, our only midweek trip of any distance being that to Biggleswade Town on Tuesday 7 December.

We start with a home fixture on Saturday 14 August against Leighton Town, whose last visit to Short Lane was in September 2007 when they knocked us out of the FA Cup.  We are quickly back in action two days later on Monday 16^th when we go to Beaconsfield SYCOB, who are likely to have the Bamford brothers within their ranks.

The Christmas and Easter fixtures will see us facing Bedfont Town, the match at Bedfont on Easter Monday (25 April) being our last of the season.
