A further Under-18 pre-season match has been arranged  for Thursday evening (26^th), away to Hanworth Villa, kick-off 6.30 p.m.  Once again, we have some very useful boys coming through for this year, and one, goalkeeper Jordan Dawson has already made it to the 1^st Team bench.

Looking ahead to Saturday’s trip to Peacehaven in the FA Cup, should the scores be level after 90 minutes, there will be a reply at Short Lane on Tuesday evening.  There will be no extra time on Saturday.

Were there to be a replay (or were AFC Hayes to draw their FA Cup match on Saturday) the League match scheduled for the Bank Holiday Monday between the teams, kicking off at 3.00 p.m. will be postponed.

Peacehaven, who drew one apiece at Hassocks in midweek, beat Frimley Green convincingly in the Extra Preliminary Round of the Cup but have possibly not made the start they were anticipating in the Sussex County League, having won one, drawn one and lost three of their opening five matches.  It means little though in cup ties as we all know.  The clubs have never previously met.

Take M25 to Junction 7

Join M23 going south

Continue on to A23

Turn left on to A27 towards Lewes and Newhaven

At Falmer Hill, turn right on to B2123 towards Rottingdean

Go through Rottingdean and turn left on to A259 (Marine Drive)

Turn left into Piddinghoe Avenue, after passing the Peacehaven Evangelical Free Church on your left.

Ground is towards the end of the road on the right.
