There will be trials for the Under 18s on Sunday 19th June 2011 beginning promptly at 3.00pm at the club, when all existing and potential new players at this age group are welcome to attend.

Once again we will be competing in the Ryman Youth League, a high standard of youth football and a level at which we have performed well since joining the League two seasons ago.  More importantly, several of last season’s team found themselves playing in the 1^st Team by the end of the season and thus in the spotlight. 

Playing at U18 level for Ashford represents a far greater chance of recognition at an earlier opportunity than with some of the so called bigger clubs, whose U18 players rarely go on to make it into the 1^st Team.

Once again Ben Murray, will be managing the team and he will be taking the trials next week.

Some of our Junior Teams are also active in the summer, with various events taking place, and on Friday 1 July, the Under-10’s will be holding a Disco with DJ T presenting “Back to the 80’s” from 5.00 p.m. to 11.00 pm at the ground.  There is free entry all evening with everybody welcome.
