We have this evening received the very sad news that our Club President, Ernie Britzman died at 9.45 p.m., in St. Peters Hospital, having suffered two strokes and a heart attack in recent weeks.

Ernie was a founder member of the Club and worked tirelessly in the early days, playing a huge part in Ashford’s journey from being a small unknown junior club to the respected senior football club that we are today.  Although he rarely showed it, he took huge pride in that achievement and our thoughts this evening will be with Vera and her family.
