Ashford's Under-18 team recorded their fourth successive victory of pre-season with a 4-0 win over Cobham. The Hammers, clad in a blue and white strip donated by Chelsea FC, whose training ground is in the town, were well beaten thanks to two goals from Jimmy Stanford, who was playing his third game in three days, with Mark Bitmead and Tom Butler adding the other strikes.
A match report from Manager Mick Snowden is here. Also on Thursday, the Under-18s travel to Beaconsfield SYCOB, with a 6.45pm kick off. Next week they travel to Bisley on Monday (6.45pm kick off) and host Staines Town on Wednesday 13th August (6.30pm kick off, on the Training Pitch) before travelling to play Fleet Town on Monday 18th August in their first League game.
