Six clubs have resigned from the Suburban League, namely Carshalton Athletic, Hayes & Yeading United, Potters Bar Town, Wingate & Finchley, Haywards Heath Town and Salisbury City. There are though 12 prospective new applicants, all of whom are recommended for acceptance by the Management Committee, in order to provide three full divisions of 18 clubs next season. The applicants are Amersham Town, Bedfont Green, Bracknell Town, Chessington & Hook United, Cove, Crowborough Athletic, Croydon Athletic, Eastbourne Borough, Leatherhead, Leighton Town, Northwood and Oakwood. The Premier Division in which Ashford will compete sees six changes if the recommendations from the Management Committee are accepted. As mentioned, Carshalton and Hayes & Yeading are leaving and it is proposed to relegate Beaconsfield SYCOB, Harefield United, Hillingdon Borough and Fleet Town. The proposed replacements will see Ash United, Chalfont St. Peter and Dunstable Town promoted from Div 1 North and Corinthian-Casuals, Three Bridges and Tonbridge Angels promoted from Div 1 South.
