Paul Johnson – Midfield, aged 25. Signed for Ashford in December 2003 after spending two years with Staines Town, for whom he signed in November 2001 after a very brief spell with Edgware Town. He had spent the previous year with Hendon. He made several 1st XI appearances for Wycombe Wanderers, and began in junior soccer with Wimbledon, Chelsea, and QPR, as well as representing Middlesex Youth. Although previously a defender, Paul became a potent force going forward from midfield, either centrally or on the left. Player of the Year for 2007-08.
