Ashford conclude their season this evening with a first time ever appearance in the Final of the Surrey Senior Cup, against Woking FC at the home of Metropolitan Police FC, Imber Court.
With the exception of one or two longer term injured players, everyone reported in fit and well for a training session on Bank Holiday Monday and manager Mark Butler will be fielding his strongest available side, although it will not include either Anthony Joseph nor Luke Pigden, both of whom are cup-tied.
It is difficult to know what team Woking are likely to field, following their relegation from the Conference National after so many years, but their web site suggests they will have something of a mixed team, including a number of their very talented youth players.
Entry this evening is £8 for adults with concessions at £4. For anybody unsure how to get to the venue, the most direct way is to leave the M25 at Junction 10 onto the A3 towards London and then take the A309. At the Scilly Isles, you should take the first left down Hampton Court Way and then turn left at the first roundabout into Ember Court Road and the ground will be facing you at the top of the road.
An alternative route from the Ashford direction is to go via Sunbury Cross and then Hampton Court itself, turning right to go over Hampton Court Bridge on to Hampton Court Way, when Ember Court Road will be the third exit at the roundabout but be warned, Hampton Court and the road up to it from Sunbury is invariably clogged with traffic at rush hour times.
Kick-off time is 7.30 p.m.
