Manager Mark Butler was clearly a very happy man after masterminding his side's triumph in last night's Surrey Senior Cup Final.

As well as reflecting with his usual honesty on the game and indeed the season as a whole, the gaffer also revealed to us exclusively that influential midfielder Ricky Wellard, whose magnificent equaliser was such a turning point, has signed a new contract with the club - news that will delight every Ashford fan!
