The Surrey Senior Cup winners return to action for one last match, when the First Team Squad take on the Supporters at Short Lane on Friday evening. The match, part of the 21st birthday celebrations of Ricky Wellard features a number of interesting match-ups the most intriguing of which is surely the battle of the two Marks in the dugouts. Obviously, Mark Butler will be masterminding operations on the home bench, while down at the Tank End, Mark "the Club Lout" Davis has to mastermind what would be the greatest upset since... er, Tuesday night!
While both gaffers have kept their line-ups close to their chest, the match is sure to be a keenly contested affair. The match is on the main pitch at Short Lane and begins at 6.00pm. The following day sees the inaugural Surrey Elite League Cup Final at Short Lane with a 3.00pm kick-off, while the final match to be played on the (ever excellent) pitch is the Under 18s Southern Youth League Play-Off match against Sutton United next Tuesday, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
