Things are moving fast today!
Our request for a friendly along the M4 corridor (vaguely) on Saturday 25 July has been met and we are delighted to be able to confirm that we will be travelling to Clevedon Town, members of the Premier Division of the Southern League, on that date.
Clevedon will be well remembered by Ashford fans as one of our main rivals during our Southern League days. They were well respected opponents and pipped us to automatic promotion at the end of the 05-06 season. It will be a pleasure to visit their superbly equipped Hand Stadium once again after a gap of three years.
To summarise the pre-season matches, this is where we are at the moment:
Sat 18 July away match tba Tue 21 July away match tba (possibly away to Cove) Sat 25 July away Clevedon Town Tue 28 July home or away, tba Thu 30 July away Bedfont Green (at Windsor & Eton) Sat 1 August home ASHFORD TOWN (from Kent) Tue 4 August away Molesey Sat 8 August home SLOUGH TOWN |
