Manager
Mark Butler has confirmed that he has finalised his coaching staff for the new
campaign. Following the departures of Rory Gleeson, Pat Munns, Glynn
Stephens and Mick Snowden, Mark has decided to completely restructure his
management team. Gary Ross remains First Team coach, but will enjoy
additional responsibilities. The other headline news is that former Chief Scout
Keith Bristow will be Mark's lead assistant for the new campaign, although Neil
Cumming will also be working closely with Mark as an assistant.
Keith Bristow has a wealth of experience, having
been assistant manager to Chris Wainwright at several clubs as well as a
highly-respected player and coach in his own right. Neil Cumming arrives
at Short Lane having worked at Windsor & Eton and North Greenford United, as
well as being Head Coach at Brunel University and managing a Middlesex FA
representative side.
The Reserve Team will be managed by Wilson
Frimpong during the new campaign.
Both Mark Butler and Neil Cumming were
kind enough to speak to the Official Website on Tuesday
evening and the interviews are available via
this link or played as a streaming MP3 file using the
built-in player, below. However, be warned that, at over
twenty minutes long, it may not be suitable for listening to at
work.
