The draws for the FA Competitions have handed Ashford Town away draws in all three competitions, with some intriguing journeys ahead.
In the FA Cup, the Ash Trees are exempted until the First Qualifying Round, but their interest in the competition will begin with the Extra-Preliminary Round in August, when Croydon face Shoreham and Crawley Down host Westfield. The winners of the Croydon - Shoreham tie will then have home advantage in the Preliminary Round. Whoever emerges victorious from that match will host Ashford on Saturday 12th September. The FA Trophy also sees Ashford handed an exemption to the First Qualifying Round and again given a tricky away match against either Croydon Athletic or Bury Town. The journey to the Rams' Keith Tuckey Stadium is a familiar, if awkward one, while a trip to Bury's Ram Meadow would be a new adventure for the side. The match will take place on Saturday 17th October. The Teenage Tangerines enjoy no protection, and begin their FA Youth Cup campaign at the Preliminary Round Stage. Like the Senior squad, they too have been drawn away, facing a midweek trek to North London to face Kingsbury London Tigers. The Tigers play at the Silver Jubilee Park ground that was home to their predecessors, Kingsbury Town and the tie is to be played in the week commencing 7th September. Should Ben Murray's youngsters tame the Tigers, they would then have a home tie against Wealdstone, to be played in the week commencing 21st September. Should Ashford remain in the competition at the Second Qualifying Round stage, they would again be on the road, travelling to one of Corinthian-Casuals, Hillingdon Borough, Croydon Athletic or Redbridge..
