We have now received details of our Middlesex County Cup draws for the new season. A bye in the 1st Round will see us through to play away to Southern League Uxbridge in the 2nd Round. We have never played Uxbridge in a league match but have played at their ground on four previous occasions in either the Senior or the Charity Cup and thus this will be the fifth consecutive away draw against them.
The winners of the tie will be away to either Wealdstone or North Greenford United in the Quarter Final.
In the Middlesex Premier Cup, in which we have made a number of Final appearances, we again have a bye in the 1st Round but will be away (again!) in the 2nd Round to either Northwood Reserves or Bedfont Reserves.
Whoever comes through that little lot would then be at home in the Quarter Final to either Wealdstone Reserves or AFC Hayes Reserves.
One other piece of news is that we have once again been invited to play a match against the British Army on Thursday 14 January at the Aldershot Military Stadium. We first went there two seasons ago and were warmly welcomed by our hosts and were invited back last year but unfortunately heavy snow caused a postponement.
