A quieter midweek beckons with just the Suburban team in action this midweek, when, on Tuesday evening, they take on Harefield United Reserves in the 3^rd Round of the Suburban League Cup, kick-off 7.45 p.m.  The visitors compete in the Northern Section of the Suburban League in which they are currently in 10^th place.  Like Ashford, they enjoyed a bye in the 1^st round and overcame Eastleigh Reserves by three goals to two in the 2^nd round to reach this stage.  This will be Ashford’s second home match in the competition, having defeated Raynes Park Vale in the previous round.

On Wednesday, Short Lane stages another representative game when we welcome the Middlesex County Ladies to Short Lane for a match against Hampshire Ladies in the South East Counties competition.  The ladies have a 100% record so far this season in this competition having won 6-5 away to Oxfordshire and 2-1 at home (at Ashford) against Berks & Bucks.  Kick-off time is 7.30 p.m.
