We have today said goodbye to Adam Logie who has been allowed to leave the Club by Jamie Lawrence. With the recent signing of Jamie England and that of Davis Haule earlier in the season, plus the emergence of Scott Weight, Adam has found it difficult to break into the team on a regular basis in recent months and is leaving us solely because he has a natural desire at the age of 25 to play regularly. Adam joined us in the summer of 2007 from Hayes & Yeading FC where he was club captain and in his three seasons with Ashford has made 120 appearances, including 21 as substitute, and has weighed in with 14 goals, one or two of which definitely merited the description of “spectacular”. He has also been a wholehearted player for Ashford and a model “professional” setting a superb example to the younger lads at all times. He was a member of the Surrey Senior Cup winning team last season. He is joining Wealdstone and will link up with ex-Ashford player Greg N’Goyi at his new club. As stated, he leaves with our blessing and we wish him every success with his new club.
