Non-League Day

Ashford Town (Middlesex) Football Club are delighted to announce that to commemorate Non-League Day on 13th October, we will be offering free admission for our match against Biggleswade Town to season ticket holders of Premier League and Football League clubs, on production of their season tickets.

With England playing San Marino on Friday 12th October, there are no Premier League or Championship fixtures on the corresponding weekend, meaning hundreds of thousands of fans are without a game to attend. Rather than miss out on a live match, Non-League Day aims to encourage fans of these clubs to watch their/a local non-league side play, providing a much needed boost to grass roots football and an alternative match day experience which many will be unfamiliar with.

The day will also see Ashford attempt to raise £150+ as part of the Save The Children UK Target 150 appeal. Club Manager Phil Marshall will be having his head shaved on the pitch during the half time interval.

Anyone wishing to sponsor Phil should contact him on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., via the club forum or in person at the clubhouse.

This season is the first time that Ashford have been at home on Non-League Day and we hope that local supporters of professional clubs will take this opportunity to take in a match at the Robert Parker Stadium.

Additionally, the club would like to invite members, supporters, local residents and the media to attend an open evening at the club on Wednesday 17th October, starting at 7.00pm where a very special announcement will be made.  The bar will be open and there will be also be a Suburban League Cup match with Cobham kicking off at 7.45pm.
