Biggleswade TownAlways subject to the weather, Ashford find themselves facing another difficult away trip on Saturday, albeit a slightly shorter journey to meet Biggleswade Town.  After failing to notch a single point in their first four meetings with their Bedfordshire opponents, Ashford sprang something of a surprise when they won the home match back in October by four goals to nil.  Biggleswade sustained a further defeat in October at Aylesbury but since then have not lost a single league match, as a result of which they currently sit in fifth place in the table and very much challenging for promotion.

The address of the ground is the Carlsberg Stadium, Langford Road, Biggleswade, SG18 9JT and kick-off is at 3.00 p.m.

The Suburban side failed to progress into the semi-final of the Middlesex Premier Cup on Wednesday evening, losing by two goals to one, after extra time, to Spartan South Midlands side Southall.  Ashford started well, very well in fact, taking the lead after just four minutes but an interesting game developed as Southall came more and more into it, finally equalising in the second half.

Both teams then proceeded to miss a host of opportunities to clinch it before Southall managed to notch the winner in extra time
