A thousand curses upon our good friends from Marlow, who, not content with doing the double over us, have now proceeded to lose to both Chertsey and North Greenford over the space of three days.  That, along with our defeat at Kettering, has dumped us back to the foot of the table again.

There is still though, all to play for, as there are just three points between ourselves, Chertsey and North Greenford.  The cudgels will be taken up again on Saturday as Ashford entertain Barton Rovers, who will arrive at Short Lane holding the final place in the play-off positions and with a successful season behind them.  They have had a busy week though, firstly beating AFC Hayes 2-0 on Tuesday and then losing 1-2 to Slough on Thursday.

Chertsey are at home to Dunstable Town while North Greenford entertain Potters Bar Town, who put seven past Chertsey last week.

Kick-off is at 3.00 p.m. and your support is welcome.
