Opening Match on Tuesday

Ashford’s players have been training hard in preparation for their first outing of the season, which comes on Tuesday evening with a home friendly against CCL Division One side, Spelthorne Sports, who enjoyed an excellent first season at senior level last year, including being one of the very few teams to actually beat Guernsey.

The match will take place on the much improved back pitch at Short Lane, kicking off at 6.30 p.m. and one would imagine that a number of triallists are likely to be given an opportunity.

Following that, the 1^st Team will go on to entertain Ryman Division One South side, Walton & Hersham on Saturday, kicking-off at the traditional 3.00 p.m.
