Ashford prepare to travel to The Den

The Women’s First Team take on the iconic Millwall Lionesses this weekend and will do so at a special venue: The Den.

Opened in 1993 as a direct replacement for Millwall’s previous ground on Cold Blow Lane, The Den was the first new all-seater stadium opened in England after the publication of the Taylor Report. The ground has hosted four international matches, the 2006 Women’s FA Cup Final, a World Heavyweight Boxing Championship bout and Super League Rugby League.

Tickets for this fixture are £5.00 for adults and £2.00 for children under the age of 16. They must be purchased online in advance from Millwall FC.

Kick-off on Sunday is 1:30pm and is the first part of a ‘double header’ with Millwall after the clubs were drawn together in the Second Qualifying Round of the Women’s FA Cup. That match takes place next weekend.
