Club Statement - Ashford Town Women
We are delighted to announce that as of the new 2023/24 season our women’s section is to be merged fully with Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC. This will mean that the women’s section will be run operationally and financially by Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC. The move will cover the First Team, B Team, and junior section.
Previously, the women’s section (started in 2015) was run in affiliation with the club. During that time the First Team has been promoted 5 times, and now competes at FA Women’s National League Tier 4 of the Women’s Football Pyramid.
The plan is to continue that success and grow the women’s section to provide a pathway and opportunities for young girls within the area.

Club Chairman Nick Bailey was very happy to confirm this change within the club:
"These are exciting times for our club as a whole, and it is great that the women's section will now be a full part of everything. This is a fantastic move that helps bring everyone together within the Ashford Town family. They are a big part of our future plans as we move the club forward. Over the coming seasons we will be looking to expand the womens side, from the youth teams up. With the men's, women's, and the youth sections all working together we can grow as a club and nurture our players through every stage of their footballing journey."
In terms of the structure of the running of the women’s sides, Nick Bailey will now be Chair with Adam Frailing taking on the role of First Team Manager.
Further announcements around the appointments for the women’s section will be made in due course.
