End of Season 2018/2019

Published by Paul Gully on

This past week club attentions have switched to our annual off the pitch end of season events.

Last Friday 10th May was our presentation evening. Everyone was in good spirits (aided by plenty of spirits) as we celebrated our players, coaching staff, and committee members for all their hard work and efforts this season. Apparently it was getting light outside when those still standing left for home!

The award winners on the night were:

Players’ Player of the Year: Elliott Poley

Supporters’ Player of the Year: Elliott Poley

Manager’s Player of the Year: Tommy Brunton and Samad Kazi

Young Player of the Year: Nebay Haile

Goal of the Season: Max Webb

Club-person of the Year: Russell Canderton

This Thursday 16th May the board held our AGM, while the majority of the players took themselves off on holiday for a well earned spot of R&R in the sun. There are some exciting developments ahead for our club, and we can’t wait to get going again.

Thank you again to all our supporters, players, coaching staff and volunteers for your dedication and efforts this season. Enjoy the break now before we meet again in preparation for the 2019/2020 season. See you all soon.
