The club is delighted to announce the signing of striker Perry Coles.

Putting pen to paper this week, Coles is the first player signed by manager Luke Tuffs ahead of the 2021-2022 season. After spells at Bracknell and Knaphill last season Perry arrives teaming up with Tuffs and a number of previous teammates. Announcing the signing Luke commented:

Very happy to have Perry back with the group. Perry is a proven goal scorer, at both this level and higher, and is a hugely exciting player to add to the core group.

Previous to Bracknell and Knaphill Coles has enjoyed two spells with Farnborough FC, where he won promotion in the EVO Stock Division 1 playoffs, and two season at Slough Town – including winning the Southern Premier. He has also teamed up with Ashford striker Matt Bunyan previously at Camberley Town, where they scored 42 and 94 goals between them respectively in just one season. We are definitely looking forward to them picking up that partnership again!

Perry has signed a one year contract through to May 2022. We know you will all join us welcoming him at the RPS as soon as we are all safely allowed back.

In the meantime here’s a video of Coles’ Slough Town debut, scoring two goals and helping them to another 3 points.
